Yesterday, a drenched Rishi Sunak stood outside #10 Downing Street and announced a snap General Election on 4th July. Today we marked Day 1 of the official campaign with canvassing in Cardonald, Govan and this evening in Pollokshields.
Although this is the start of an intense 6-week campaign, my team and I have been out speaking to voters since February of last year. We know the polls are looking positive but there is so much more work we need to do to win in Glasgow South West.
